Vincent Massey Collegiate is holding a variety of fundraisers in support of the cause including a bake sale and a candy guess. Pledge forms have been handed out to each class and every student who wishes to participate is encouraged to donate a minimum of $5. A marketing class raised funds as an assignment!
Gimli High School is holding a school clothing fundraiser this year selling hoodies, jackets, sweatpants, tear away pants, long sleeved shirts and fan towels all hand embroidered with a purple ribbon to raise awareness for teens living with cancer.
A group of students from the Leadership Team at Lockport School are organizing their own walk at their school to support Kendra’s Walk.
James Nisbet School is proud to present an assembly at 1:15 on Friday, May 27th to celebrate the legacy of Kendra McBain, founder of Kendra’s Walk. Participants are invited to wear purple and bring in donations for the cause.
